It seems that all of our server 2012 R2 deployed Exchange 2013 servers have developed a bug.  The event viewer loads without issue just as it always has and I can browse all the logs with out issue, but any time I filter any of the logs (i.e., Windows and Application) I receive the error that the "MMC has detected an error in a snap-in and will unload it".  The following "Unhandled Exception in Managed Code Snap-In" window provides additional detail that "The process cannot access the file 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Event Viewer\Views\msexchangerpl_events.xml' because it is being used by another process.   I have already run 'dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth' and 'sfc /scannow' that both reported corruption was repaired, but did not correct the problem.   There is this 'problem details' in the 'MMC stopped working' popup after if I select 'report to MS';   Problem signature:   Problem Event Name:  CLR20r3   Problem Signature 01:  mmc.exe   Problem Signature 02:  6.3.9600.18910   Problem Signature 03:  5a57a503   Problem Signature 04:  mscorlib   Problem Signature 05:  4.7.3324.0   Problem Signature 06:  5c09b1b7   Problem Signature 07:  1687   Problem Signature 08:  1d8   Problem Signature 09:  System.IO.IOException   OS Version:      6.3.9600.2.0.0.272.7   Locale ID:          1033   Additional Information 1:           df29   Additional Information 2:           df291ca819a7dfd9eb786c70f2f0186f   Additional Information 3:           7a99   Additional Information 4:           7a9980d82b5bf2b5c784287d6538e414   Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.
