Right scholarly technical people,
This is more an Exchange than an AD question, but I would say a lot of people on here are experts at both I will ask the question. To cut a very long story short I am in a situation where I have to get Free\busy working between an Exchange 2007 Org and an Exchange 2010 Org. Now I can't add an Exchange 2010 Server to the Exchange 2007 Org and update the schema to make this work easily due to other legacy apps. The only solution I have come up with is setup GALSynch and bring across a load of mail enabled objects and FIM.Is their a cleaner way utilising more modern technologies and if not what are the pitfalls of my approach ?I never get the obsession with free\busy in migrations. It will all work after, but I always seem to have to deliver this as the 1st priority and invariably I can't use the infrastructure with the migration for this. Also an aside I am watching Season 2 of Mr Robot at the moment. QUALITY !!
