Hi,

FYI - We have found that there is a bug in win7 post security update MS11-013 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2425227), where the supported encryption types can get set to KERB_ENCTYPES_NO_DES if future encryption types are NOT enabled. Functionally with this update installed if your local security setting has DES enable but does not have "future encryption types selected" DES will not be included in the list of client supported encryption types.

Whilst DES may not be a desirable encryption type to have enabled you may need to do so for down level application compatibility....

Thanks.

Damian.
